Custom Decks Built for Louisville Living

A well-built deck transforms your backyard into an outdoor living room. Ruth Fence and Deck has been building custom decks for Louisville homeowners and businesses for over 15 years — and we treat every project like it's our own home.

Whether you want a simple ground-level deck or a multi-level entertaining space, we design and build it with quality materials and craftsmanship that lasts.

Deck Materials We Work With

Pressure-Treated Wood

The most affordable option and still incredibly durable when properly sealed and maintained. Great for homeowners who want a natural wood look and plan to stain or paint.

Trex Composite Decking

Trex is the gold standard in composite decking — it looks like real wood but never needs staining, resists fading, and holds up beautifully in Louisville's climate. A 25-year fade and stain warranty backs every board.

Cedar & Redwood

Naturally rot-resistant and beautiful. A great middle ground between pressure-treated and composite in terms of cost and longevity.
